During the start of the pandemic, many distillers turned their hand to creating hand santiser to help local health authorities and charities.
One of these distilleries was Persie - a gin distillery which was founded by husband and wife time Simon and Chrissie Fairclough, in 2013. Simon and Chrissie also run the long-established Gin Club Scotland.
As well as hand sanitiser, Persie Gin has added face masks to its site - and they're going down a storm with fans.
The masks, which say 'only remove for gin and sarcasm' are sold online alongside the Persie Gin hand sanitiser.
Speaking of the masks, Simon said that they were created as a bit of fun during lockdown: “We were excited to open the doors of our distillery again this week to welcome gin lovers back for shopping and sampling after months of closure.
"We wanted to lighten the mood in these strange and difficult times - so to help keep our visitors’ spirits up we created a face mask specially designed for gin fans known for their love of sarcasm."
Simon added: "The masks have been a huge hit and we are happy to see our customers' eyes smile when they wear them.”
Posting on their site, the masks are described as: "The Persie face mask is as soft as the cloth for cleaning reading glasses. Made from microfibres with flexible but resistant elastics, our masks are reusable and machine washable.
"They are breathable, quick-drying, absorbent, they do not irritate the skin and are hypoallergenic. The masks are made from 220g/m2 microfibre, a nonwoven fabric made of 70% polyester and 30% polyamide. They are not intended for medical use."
