Edinburgh Fringe pop-up coffee shack pokes fun at Trump gaffe

A pop-up coffee shop at this year's Edinburgh Festival Fringe has poked fun at Donald Trump by naming itself after the US president's infamous Tweet.

Run by the Assembly Rooms staff and located outside Assembly George Square Gardens, the temporary coffee stall has been dubbed Covfefe after one of Donald Trump's most well-known gaffes on Twitter.

The US president, who made the headlines recently after he threatened North Korea with “fire and fury”, posted the strange Tweet in May this year, leading to thousands of jokes at his expense as Twitter users tried to work out exactly what the word meant.

Now it seems a little coffee hut in Edinburgh is the latest to poke fun at Businessman turned politician.

The pop-up joins a list of other interestingly named street food vendors which include Winner Winner (for Fried Chicken), Aporkalypse (Pork Belly Rolls) and Return of the Mac (Mac and Cheese).
