Balmaha’s Braw Weekend will be held on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th October in a large field behind the Oak Tree Inn. The event will start each day at 11am; the daytime will feature family fun and entertainment while on the Saturday night there will be a real ale, whisky, beer and music festival.
The event is being organised by The Oak Tree Inn, with support from Event Scotland and Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park and is one of a series of events to celebrate Scotland’s Year of Food & Drink.
The Oak Tree has strong credentials of food and drink, with its renowned restaurant, microbrewery and Loch Lomond ice cream brands. As Stuart Fraser, of the Oak Tree explains this weekend will also feature a whole range of Scotland’s leading food and drink producers. He said: "We see this weekend as an incredible opportunity to bring together some leading names in food and drink, with many already confirmed. We particularly want to showcase some of the amazing local producers who have worked so hard to raise the quality of food and drink in Loch Lomond."
"This festival will feature something for everyone with not just food and drink but live music, games for the children, family entertainment and much more. We have a stunning location for the festival, on the banks of Loch Lomond, with many of the activities under cover. Best of all both the parking and entrance to Balmaha’s Braw Weekend is absolutely free!"
