According to the Food Standards Agency, consumers are being advised to check their freezers, fridges and cupboards for following food items, as they are being recalled by high street supermarkets.
The supermarket is recalling these muesli bars because the products might contain salmonella. The pack of three 45g bars have best before end of dates: August 2020, September 2020, October 2020, December 2020, January 2021, February 2021, March 2021, April 2021.
Anyone who has bought this product should not eat it and return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.
Iceland is recalling both of these items as salmonella has been found in the products. The 400g packs of Chip Shop Curry Chicken are 400g have best before dates of 27 February 2021, 17 March 2021 and 8 April 2021.
The 220g packets of Southern Fried chicken have a best before date of 4 April 2021.
The advice from Food Standards is as follows, "If you have bought any of the above products do not consume them. Instead, return them to the store from where they were bought for a full refund or contact Iceland Customer Care line on 0800 328 0800 and select option 2."
Waitrose & Partners is recalling Waitrose & Partners Chicken Satay with Sweet Chilli Sauce because an incorrect dip has been packed in the product, resulting in fish and peanuts not being mentioned on the label.
Because this product contains fish and peanuts, without a warning, this poses a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to fish and/or peanuts.
If you've bought this product and have an allergy to fish and/or peanuts, do not eat it. Instead return it to a local Waitrose store for a full refund. Alternatively, contact Waitrose Customer Care on 0800 188 881, option 4.
The 600g packs have a best before date of October 2021 and lot number 0105. If you have the product and are intolerant to any of the unmentioned allergens, you can take it back to the store it was bought from for a full refund.
The Co-op is recalling its own brand Sliced Curly Kale because packs may contain thistle (spiky weeds). The possible presence of thistle makes this product unsafe to eat.
