The popular breakfast and brunch restaurant in Stornoway will not reopen after lockdown.
The Harris & Lewis Smokehouse restaurant made the sad announcement on their Facebook page, saying: "We have made the difficult decision not to reopen the Harris & Lewis Smokehouse Restaurant following its closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
"The smokehouse will continue to run as a development facility.
“We are currently consulting with affected employees and, where possible, will look for opportunities to redeploy them elsewhere in the business."

Followers commented on the post to express their sadness, with one saying: "So sorry to hear this, it was a great place to eat."
Another added: "So sad but so glad I had the opportunity to sample your hospitality on my last visit to the island."
The Harris & Lewis Smokehouse was opened by the Scottish Salmon Company in 2018, and was busy at lunchtimes with both visitors and local trade.
The news comes as restaurants and bars start to prepare for further easing of lockdown restrictions, which could mean food and drinks could be served in outdoor spaces.
This week plans for Glasgow's 'biggest beer garden' were revealed at Cranside Kitchen and the Chester hotel in Aberdeen announced it would be offering diners the chance to book igloo style domes that will be set up in their car park.
But the lockdown has taken its toll on other restaurants as well, with this month also seeing the closure of the popular Edinburgh Food Studio.
