Scottish born, London based Mac & Wild have recently announced that their award-winning venison and beef or 'venimoo' burger kits are available for nationwide delivery.

The DIY Mac & Wild burger kits contain everything you need to make these restaurant-quality burgers at home - either for two people as an indulgent treat or for four people.

What to expect

If you're currently inundated with deliveries then this one will stand out thanks to the branded box and details of the burger on the outside.

Each Venimoo Burger Kit reflects Mac & Wild’s ethos of offering consumers sustainable Scottish produce and the packaging is ethically sourced.

Inside you'll find eight burgers - four beef and four venison - baby gem lettuce, gherkins, burger cheese slices, two peeled and finely sliced onions, ready to be caramelised at home, as well as sesame brioche buns.

A selection of sauces including; béarnaise, mustard and Mac & Wild’s Red Jon Sauce are in the pack as well.

Don't be overwhelmed, there's a recipe card with pictures and easy to follow instructions.

This recipe card ensures that cooking and assembling the burgers is easy. All you need to do is caramelise the onions, chop the gherkin, get the sauces and cheese ready, fry the burgers and stack onto a bun.

Once ready the burgers look and smell awesome - and could have easily come from a restaurant instead of the kitchen at home.

Taste-wise, you can tell the quality of meat and the combination of beef, venison and the sauces are delicious. It genuinely is the best (and easiest) burger I've cooked at home. You might not think you can finish it all (if there's only two people) but it's hard not to.

With regards to the burger meat, the team say: "All game and meat provided is sustainably sourced and sent direct from the Highlands, with the beef supplied from Highlander and Shorthorn breed cattle, slow growing breeds offering a less harsh impact on the environment, and wild venison from the Highlands."
