Hotel group offers to hold the baby with free nanny service this Mother's Day for anyone dining at their restaurants

A hotel group is offering an ideal meal accompaniment for Mother's Day to any families dining at their restaurants - a designated nanny.

Apex Hotels, the national family-owned hotel group with sites across Scotland, said that in celebration of Mother’s Day, families can enjoy either a two or three course meal, a free glass of prosecco for mum and an Apex Nanny at the table to see to the baby of the group.

A spokesperson for the firm said: "The offer will allow both parents to enjoy their meal together – a scarce occasion with a new born – with baby still by their side."

Headquartered in Edinburgh, Apex will roll the package out across all six of the group’s hotels in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Dundee, guaranteeing no-one but the ‘nanny’ is left holding the baby whilst they tuck into their Mother’s Day meal.

Angela Vickers, Apex Hotels’ chief executive, said: “Apex is a family-owned hotel group, so we appreciate the significance of Mother’s Day for our guests and customers.

This is our way of letting mums and dads celebrate a real family occasion with their little ones, whilst not having to worry about their meals getting cold.”

Joining mums, dads and families at the dining table will be Apex Nannies, provided by local, fully accredited babysitting groups, ensuring the little ones can enjoy their mum’s big day out as well.

The hands free Mother’s Day package, with two courses plus a glass of prosecco start from £21.50 or three courses plus a glass of prosecco from £26.50. Packages are only available to book over the phone, with a limited number of tables available at each hotel.
