Gleneagles to release bespoke chocolate eggs for Easter

The luxury hotel will be selling its own Easter eggs from the end of this month.

Perthshire hotel and country estate, Gleneagles, has become the first hotel in Scotland to produce its very own chocolate egg available to purchase as the perfect gift this Easter.

Created by Executive Pastry Chef Phill Skinazi and his pastry team, the Gleneagles Easter Egg is made using Gleneagles and Valrhona’s custom developed blend of 64% dark chocolate – which is also used across the venue in desserts and sold as a chocolate bar at Gleneagles & Co. within the venue’s retail arcade.

Drawing inspiration from Perthshire berries, peat and the purity of the countryside, the Gleneagles dark chocolate produced by luxury French chocolatier, Valrhona, is described as a celebration of these local flavour notes and the finest ingredients from around the world.

For added luxury, the Gleneagles chocolate Easter Egg is filled with handmade whisky truffles, created with Gleneagles’ very first single malt developed in collaboration with nearby distillery, The Glenturret.

The Easter Eggs are now available for pre-order and will officially hit the shelves on Wednesday 30 March, priced at £38 each.

A very limited number of eggs are being produced and pre-ordering is advised.

To order, call Gleneagles & Co. on 01764 694 193 or email [email protected]. Purchases are collection only, no shipping.
