What is the Edinburgh Food Festival?
A brand new food festival, which is in its first year, is supported by EventScotland, VisitScotland and Scotland Food & Drink as part of the Year of Food and Drink Scotland 2015.
The Edinburgh Food Festival aims to highlight top quality Street Food and local food producers as well as showcasing Scotland’s natural larder to both locals and visitors alike. The festival will offer revellers the chance to engage with Scottish producers and sample some extraordinary Scottish Food.
Sharon Burgess, Managing Director of Assembly Festival Ltd said:
“We are so excited to be working with some of Scotland’s finest producers and most celebrated businesses. We pride ourselves on the quality of our offering and this is a great way to spotlight how the industry is evolving. To support this, industry professionals are hosting talks and debates and a special programme of entertainment is on offer. What better place to host a food festival than Edinburgh!”
