With National Fudge Day underway, The Fudge Kitchen in Edinburgh is open and ready with their vast range of flavours of fudge, all made in-store.
Today they aim to make an "irresponsible" amount of fudge in aid of the Lily Foundation, which was set up in 2016 in order to fund research into, and offer support to families with children suffering from Mitochondrial Disease.

No matter the day, a visit to the Fudge Kitchen should be on the list for anyone visiting Edinburgh not just for its pretty Royal Mile location, but to experience their interactive fudge making process, which can be attended by fudge fans looking to learn how it's done.
The experience includes the chance to sample the range of delicious and different flavours, learn about the history of fudge, don a hat and apron and get stuck in to creating your own batch with help from a fudge making expert, take six slices home (worth £22), including your own batch and they'll also throw in a Make Fudge at Home kit so you can relive your experience again.
You'll also be able to get your fudge fix at this year's Royal Highland Show as The Fudge Kitchen are one of the many foodie stalls that'd be there as part of Scotland's Larder from the 22nd-25th June.
