The pizza restaurants locations in the capital are ranked first and second on TripAdvisor.
@pizza Charlotte Lane has enjoyed holding the TripAdvisor number one ranking for pizza in Edinburgh for over three years, but has recently fallen to second place, as @pizza Royal Mile is now ranked number one for pizza.
Having opened its doors less than three months ago, @pizza Royal Mile has been attracting rave reviews from locals and visitors alike.
This feedback, which focuses on excellent service and fantastic pizza, has knocked Charlotte Lane off the top spot, giving the restaurants both top ranking positions in the city.
The new @pizza location, which is located in the Royal Mile’s renovated police station and next door to the Edinburgh Fringe shop, is split over three floors with a spacious outdoor seating area.
Customers are able to enjoy hand-crafted pizzas with unlimited customisation options (including gluten free and vegan) and a range of Innis & Gunn beers.
Co-founder Rupert Lyle said of the rankings, “Our fast-paced service and excellent quality is no accident.
