Cottiers Glasgow launches new menu and hints at restaurant re-brand

West-end bar, restaurant and events venue, Cottiers, is set to launch a new menu today

As described on Cottiers Facebook page, the new menu sounds delicious:

"We are pleased to announce that as of Monday 21st August, our brand new Bar Menu goes live!

"Featuring home made, fresh comfort food from our new Head Chef Graham Gardner, you can look forward pub classics such as IPA Battered Haddock & Chips, The Cottier's Burger (always hand made in house) and our "Pie of the Day".

"As a sneak peak, today's pie has chicken, wild mushroom, spinach and indulgent truffle oil..."

The post on the new menu also includes a nod to Leiper's Attic, which is opening in September. Named after William Leiper who built the Cottiers Theatre in 1865, which was originally Dowanhill Parish Church.

He worked with Daniel Cottier who created the intricate decoration and beautifully appointed stained glass windows.

With the main venue named after Mr Cottier, will a restaurant re-launch be dedicated to the architect behind the church?
