Competition: Win two tickets to Mhor Festival

In its fifth year and bigger than ever before, Mhor Festival is celebrating by offering two VIP tickets to this year’s festival for one lucky Scotsman reader.

The lucky winner and their guest will get a three-day festival pass including camping and use of facilities.

As VIP’s they will arrive in style; boarding the special Mhor boat from Balquhidder Village Hall, and soaking up the atmosphere in the 15 minute scenic boat journey along Loch Voil to the festival, with a complimentary drink in hand.

Mhor festival is for all ages and tastes, located along the beautiful glen road at Monachyle Mhor Hotel, a packed line-up of food, drink, live music, theatre, entertainment and magic awaits.

The Friday night kicks off with live music from 6pm. Ceilidh bands, soul, folk and rock music will be live on the stage throughout the weekend followed by some of Scotland’s top DJ’s.

From Saturday onwards there will be activities running from morning until night. Trapeze lessons to photography tips, raft building competition to magic woodland walks; bread making classes to wine tasting and of course the festival highlight, The Great Scottish Feast topping off the Saturday evening. Many Mhor treats are to be expected though so keep your eyes peeled!

Keeping bellies full, there will be a lovely food producers market which has been hand-picked for the festival. Food offerings include: Mhor fish & chipsScotty Brand’s Big Breakfast at the campsite café, Guy Grieve’s hand-dived scallops and the Oyster Bar with Roy Brett at the helm.

The Pimms, Champagne & Oyster Bar will keep festival goers refreshed and there will be a great selection of ales from the hugely supportive Belhaven Brewery. One of the new features this year is the Cocktail Garden, which follows the creativity of the festival with a unique ‘make your own’ theme where guests pick herbs from the garden to be infused in their drinks.

Campsite opens 3pm on the 27th, festival begins at 6pm and campsite closes midday Monday.
