After a successful first season, Café Cùil, a contemporary Hebridean brunch and lunch spot just a stone’s throw away from Skye’s Fairy Pools, is to reopen its doors for the season on 10 March 2023 with some new additions to its menu.
The café, headed up by Clare Coghill, the Island’s youngest hospitality owner (and one of the Skye’s only female restaurant owners) is expanding its offering with a new Highland-inspired drinks selection featuring organic wines and cocktails.
These will accompany a spring menu focusing on seasonal Scottish produce and fermented, gut healthy ingredients.
2022 saw Café Cùil make a triumphant return to Coghill’s native Skye following a stint in Dalston, wowing diners with its laid-back but ambitious contemporary menu, bringing a slice of London's sophisticated brunch scene to Skye.
A popular dish, Lochalsh Beef Brisket Rarebit with Orkney cheddar, will be making a return to the menu this season, alongside new dishes including:
For the first time, Café Cùil diners will also be able to choose from a new organic wine and cocktail menu, designed by Coghill to perfectly accompany her dishes instilling local tastes of the Highlands.
