With most of us cooking at home this Easter weekend, lamb is a seasonal dish that's ideal for a Sunday roast.
Here we take a look at some deals that are currently available on Scotch lamb, from the supermarkets to independent butchers.
Aldi's Easter lamb offering is a Scotch whole leg of lamb, which is available in all 96 Scottish stores now.
Priced at £5.49 per kg, Aldi have teamed up with chef and professional MasterChef contestant, David Hetherington, to show customers how to cook it as part of an Easter roast.
Aldi’s whole leg of Scotch Lamb is PGI certified, which means it is guaranteed to come from animals born and reared on assured Scottish farms that meet the most stringent animal welfare and natural production methods, meaning customers can be sure they are buying produce of the highest quality.
Lidl is also gearing up for Easter with their Strathvale Scottish lamb leg steak, which is only available in Scottish stores and are priced at £3.49.
They also have Strathvale Scottish lamb chops, which are £4.09 for four.
Marks and Spencer have a 'family friendly' Easter dine in deal that's running from 31 March until 5 April.
Priced at £20, it feeds four and includes: the Meltingly Tender Lamb Shoulder (or a vegan option of Plant Kitchen Vegan ‘Chickenless’ Roasting Joint), three sides including pigs in blankets and a dessert.
This butcher, which is based near Linlithgow, has a website that'll deliver meat nationally.
For Easter, they have a deal of 20 per cent off all lamb products, which includes the Scotch lamb range.
This range is made up from lamb that have been born, raised, and processed in Scotland while adhering to the highest standards of animal welfare and sustainable farming.
A boneless leg of lamb from Campbells is £23, a leg of lamb on the bone is £29 and lamb chops are £3 (not including the discount).
