The supermarket whiskies, all under £20, have won gold medals at the International Spirits Challenge 2024.
Aldi’s Glen Marnoch Highland Single Scotch Whisky (£18.49, 70cl), Highland Earl Blended Scotch Whisky (£16.89, 1L) and Samuel Joe's Straight Kentucky Bourbon (£14.99, 70cl), pipped competitors to the post at the International Spirits Challenge (ISC) as all three won gold medals.
Glen Marnoch Highland Single Scotch Whisky, beat M&S within the Single Malts category as well as premium brand Lochlea Distillery, which comes in at £45.
At just £18.49 a bottle, shoppers can save over 60% if they oft for Aldi’s award winner.
Spirits at the awards are blind tasted by an expert and independent panel of judges selected by the organiser.
Bronze, Silver, Gold and Double Gold medals are awarded according to a consensus reached by the judging panel. The best of the best will be awarded Trophy medals.

The discount supermarket also took home three silvers for its Highland Black Blended Scotch Whisky (£15.99, 70cl), Glen Marnoch Speyside Single Malt Whisky (£18.49, 70cl) and Glen Marnoch Islay Single Malt Whisky (£18.49, 70cl).
The retailer’s whisky range has already been awarded 15 medals at international competitions in the last 12 months.
Adding to Aldi’s ever-growing trophy cabinet just in time for Father’s Day (16 June), Aldi’s new Glen Marnoch Peated Single Malt Whisky (70cl) is landing on shelves nationwide for just £19.99 a bottle.
Available in stores now, the new Scotch whisky offers a pleasing aroma of malt, aniseed and lemongrass. Combined with flavours of peat smoke and spice, the whisky leaves a lingering finish.
