House of Hazelwood and Hedonism Wines have come together to create whisky’s answer to the definition of Hedonism: The Pursuit of Pleasure, a 52 Year Old Blended Scotch Whisky.
In a literal ‘pursuit of pleasure’ the Hedonism team travelled to House of Hazelwood’s Speyside home in search of the perfect blend.
Drawing on whisky from deep within the Gordon family’s private collection, a panel of Hedonism’s experts spent days with House of Hazelwood whisky makers sampling hundreds of parcels of whisky in search of finding the components to create the ultimate blend.
The result is The Pursuit of Pleasure, a 52-Year-Old Blended Scotch Whisky, matured in a combination of American White Oak and European Sherry Casks.
There are only 72 bottles available of this whisky, making it a very special gift indeed.

Earlier this year Glenmorangie released a new expression of their popular Signet whisky - Glenmorangie Signet Reserve.
The original Signet is made using chocolate malt, and has rich chocolate and coffee notes.
To create Signet Reserve, Dr Bill and his whisky creation team have chosen parcels of fully matured Signet before aging it even further in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. Because of this, the whisky has notes of chocolate truffles, tiramisu, toffee and fudge.
It’s an ideal, special gift for those that love the original Signet whisky, which is now a classic.

British mechanical watch brand Marloe Watch Company has teamed up with Ardnamurchan, to launch a watch and whisky set that’ll make an ideal luxury gift this Christmas.
This partnership between the two companies has created Marloe Watch Company’s newest addition, the Glenbeg Blue, matched with The Ardnamurchan Distillery’s first 10-year-old Oloroso single cask release.
The Glenberg Blue set includes a customised Swiss-made STP1-21 automatic movement watch, the design includes a copper plated Ardnamurchan Distillery rotor and colour-matched date wheel for a sleek, integrated, subtle design.
The Ardnamurchan Slate blue dial is offset with copper detailing, inspired by Ardnamurchan’s copper stills used to distil every batch of its Scotch whisky.
Presented on a perforated Oloroso sherry leather strap to complement the copper accents, additional straps will be available to purchase separately online to transform the watch for any occasion.
Forming part of a limited-edition collection of only 292 exclusive sets, the Glenbeg Blue is accompanied by a bottle of very special, single cask 10-year-old Oloroso matured whisky from Cask No.233, the 233rd cask ever to be filled at The Ardnamurchan Distillery in 2014, and was picked over many others by sales director Connal Mackenzie and both of Marloe’s founders Oliver Goffe and Gordon Fraser.
Also included in the collaborative set is a 5cl miniature, to allow collectors to taste the 10-year-old single cask whisky without breaking the seal on the exclusive full-size bottle.
A cask plug cut from the staves of Cask No.233, that held this whisky for its entire maturation, also features in the collection alongside a hand-numbered collector’s card.
Finally, each of the 292 recipients will also receive a ticket to attend a ‘Behind the Scenes’ tour of the Ardnamurchan Distillery in the Highlands, valid until the end of 2025.

Benromach has blended the worlds of fashion and whisky to reimagine the workwear jacket traditionally worn by distillery workers over past centuries. And those who love the design – not to mention the award-winning single malt – can secure a limited-edition garment for themselves or a loved one this Christmas.
Created in partnership with Reworked 348, based the Derby, England, the design of the new ‘coverall’ jacket was directly influenced by the distillery team at Benromach. Their brief was brought to life by Reworked 348’s head designer Sally Harnden.
As the name suggests, Reworked 348 tend to use recycled materials, with each Benromach jacket individually deconstructed and reconstructed from workwear originally made in the 1990s.
Created using traditional workwear construction, the distiller’s coverall jacket – made from 100% cotton herringbone in black with accents of Benromach red – provides essential durability and breathability for a working environment that can get hot.
With functionality at the forefront of the brief, the jacket is equipped with two diagonal pockets for quick access and an inner pocket ideal for tools.

Earlier this year Longmorn launched its oldest release to date; a 30 Year Old whisky.
This release represents 130 years of whisky-making expertise, with the whisky having been aged in hogsheads and American Oak barrels, then bottled at cask strength.
The result is, the team say, the ‘ultimate expression of Longmorn’: perfectly balanced with a long complex finish, and a fitting tribute to the classic Speyside style.
