With the dawning of the 'drone age' there have been a glut of aerial footage videos being released on the internet - some good, some bad.
However, every so often, a video comes along that makes you stand up and take notice and this is definitely one of those.
Published on Swedish Vimeo account Per Lundgren and posted on Youtube by Scotchwhisky.com, this video footage shows stunning aerial views of Islay's operational whisky distilleries including Bowmore, Bruichladdich and the diminutive Kilchoman.
Showing off not only rare glimpses of many of the distillery's unique features, the footage - shot using a DJI Inpsiri HD drone camera - also catches some beautiful shots of the island itself.
Be warned though, we aren't sure what inspired the chosen backing track, but it's very 80s europoptastic, so if that's not your bag then it is probably best to view this video on mute.
