The Bridge of Orchy Hotel near Glen Coe in Argyll recently appointed award-winning chef David Hetherington - making it an ideal foodie destination in the Highlands.
Originally from Arrochar on the Cowal peninsula in Argyll, David is known for his eye-catching dishes with bold flavours created using locally sourced, seasonal produce.
This St Andrews Day (30 November), the hotel and David are offering guests a special six course tasting menu paired with selected wines from Wood Winters. The ticket price also includes a welcome drinks reception.

Step back in time with this special dinner on board the luxurious Northern Belle steam train.
To start the journey, guest will be welcomed on board with a piper on the platform before tucking into a specially created meal.
The seven course menu showcases some of Scotland's finest ingredients, including: Pressed terrine of confit duck and duck breast; Cullen Skink, Scottish beef, a selection of Scottish cheeses, and a butterscotch tart served with Highland cream.
As well as this, traditional music can be enjoyed thanks to a ceilidh band that will play halfway through the journey.
A spokesman for the Northern Belle said: "Because it is St Andrew’s Day, our guests are being encouraged to celebrate by wearing something tartan.
“It promises to be a wonderful occasion from the moment they step over a red carpet and board our 1930s-style Pullman carriages – one of which used to be part of the Queen’s Royal Train.
"Then after being handed a glass of champagne, they will tuck into a delicious meal while travelling in the utmost luxury through the beautiful Scottish countryside."
If you're planning a Christmas outing, the Northern Belle will be back in Scotland on the 5 and 6 December for a Christmas lunch trip.
Starting out from Glasgow Central at 11.30 and picking up more passengers at Edinburgh Waverley at 12.30, guests can enjoy a champagne reception followed by a seven course lunch served with wine for £260.

On 30 November Stewart Brewing are playing host to two of Scotland's leading storytellers - Beverly Bryant and Heather Yule to tell tales of Scotland's myths and mysteries.
From 7pm guest are invited to get comfortable and enjoy a mulled beer while listening to the stories, which are accompanied by traditional live music.
The ticket price of £12 per person includes a schooner of beer.

From 12.30-8.30pm, both members and no-members are invited to celebrate St Andrews Day at the Scotch Malt Whisky Society.
The 'relaxed Saturday party' starts with a glass of fizz, after which whisky fans can enjoy two drams and a spread of cheese and meats.

Guest are invited to celebrate all things Scottish this St Andrews Day at the National Piping Centre.
From 7pm there will be a welcome from a piper before a tour of the newly re-displayed Museum of Piping and the chance to try the bagpipes, with the centre's expert piper on hand to offer expertise and tips.
Guests can then enjoy a three course meal, paired with a matched dram of whisky for each dish.

The eighth annual St Andrew's Day dinner will be held this year as part of Savour St Andrews - where local chefs and food and drink businesses team up to showcase the seasonal flavours of the region.
The dinner - which will have a Scotch lamb main course, a nod to the Quality Meat Scotland campaign - will be held in the grand Ballroom at the Old Course Hotel and spa on Thursday 28 November from 7pm.
Guests can look forward to a welcome drinks reception followed by a six course meal with matched wines before ending with a whisky toast. The dinner will be supported by hospitality students from Fife College and SRUC Elmwood Campus and profits will be used towards student bursaries for both colleges.
