Hrafn (which means raven in old Norse) Gin is described a celebration of winter that brings together the festive taste of mandarin and soft cinnamon spice with the classic Christmas themed ingredients of Frankincense and Myrrh.
The ‘Winter Edition’ gin features botanicals such as Juniper, Coriander Seed, cubeb pepper and mandarin as well as being infused with Royal Green Hojari Frankincense from Dhofar and pure Omani Myrrh.
After four weeks blending, the new spirit is then bottled and hallmarked with a purple and gold label.
The producers say that it has notes of Juniper, Violet, Spice and Mandarin is best enjoyed over ice with a light tonic and a "garnish of lemon peel or pomegranate".
Founder Peter Sim said: " The Myrrh imparts floral notes of violet and rose, precious oud and a slight tingling piquancy, whilst the Royal Hojari Frankincense give a sweet balsamic note with a citrus drift.
"Both are fabled incense that favour both meditation and euphoria.
"To taste, the hallmark taste journey of Raven is apparent. First, the juniper, followed by the delicate mandarin, but the spiced finish is lifted by the incense to a drift that imparts an exotic and archaic linger."
