The biggest ever give away by the brand will see the tokens being handed out at random in Pret shops by Team Members from Monday 19th March until Sunday 25th March which can then be redeemed for a free hot or cold Barista prepared drink.
The chain is already well known for its ‘random acts of kindness’, whereby Pret team members are allowed to give customers a hot drink or treat on the house; however, this campaign, to encourage customers to spread a little joy, will see Pret change that around by asking customers to pass the token on to a friend.
Sara, Barista at Pret (Edinburgh, Princes Street), said: “We’re often told by customers that we’ve brightened up their day by giving them something ‘on the house’ and it is such an empowering feeling.
I think it’s great that it’s now our customer’s turn to do the same by passing on their token. It’s always nice to be able to make someone’s day.”
Those who are lucky enough to receive a ‘Make Someone Smile’ token will have until
Monday 30th April to use it.
