The city of Inverness has been flooded with a “WTF” campaign this week, from a crowd of 30 dressed in black wearing chefs’ hats with ‘WTF’ emblazoned on them, to logos projected onto Inverness Castle and bridges and trains creating an element of mystery.

And today all is revealed with a plane flying with a banner message up in the sky.
The campaign was dreamed up by owner Gillian Lacey-Solymar to celebrate her restaurant Table Manors being awarded a coveted 2 AA Rosettes for the food served at the 5 star Achnagairn Estate, which is part of the Perfect Manors group company.
Further celebrations ensue this Friday when free nibbles will be served to the visitors between 2pm and 6pm, giving a chance to taste some of the cuisine at the award winning establishment.

Gillian explained “we did the WTF campaign to grab people’s attention – 2 rosettes by such a young team is remarkable.
"And running an innovative and quirky campaign seemed appropriate given how innovative the food is and how quirky the décor.”
Table Manors, which opened two years ago, has already made a name for itself as one of the most exciting restaurants in the Highlands serving a truly Scottish themed menu.
The food is prepared by two winners of the Young Highland Chef of the Year award: Head Chef Euan Walker and sous-chef David Macdonald.
Gillian continues: “We are absolutely delighted to have been recognised in the AA Rosette restaurant award scheme.
"There is no doubt it’s thanks to our award winning Head Chef Euan Walker and his team who work with only the freshest produce, to serve truly Scottish dishes.
"We source as locally as possible. The vegetables we use are grown 200 metres away at Achnagairn Farm and other ingredients come from as close by as possible.”
Table Manors has a woodland theme to fit its surroundings: you will find the walls lined with real birch trees to give it a forest feel.
The chairs and furnishings are all in vibrant pinks and greens, filling the place with life and setting it apart for its original feel.
The business Perfect Manors, which owns a number of sophisticated quality holiday accommodation properties, was started by husband and wife team Gillian and Mike Lacey-Solymar, with help from their three children.
Perfect Manors began with the purchase of the Regency mansion, Cortes House in Aberdeenshire.
Expansion came quickly in Inverness-shire, with the purchase of Achnagairn Estate.
The AA Rosette scheme was launched in 1956 and was the first UK wide scheme for assessing the quality of food served by restaurants and hotels.
