The Whisky Exchange is, once again, inviting fans to come together (virtually) to name the Whisky of the Year 2021.
The Whisky of the Year tasting is the only official global blind whisky tasting undertaken by members of the public.
Now in its second year, three of the six shortlisted whiskies have been nominated by global customers of The Whisky Exchange, and three by co-founder of The Whisky Exchange, Sukhinder Singh and head buyer Dawn Davies MW.
All of the whiskies abide by the Whisky of the Year criteria: they must be regular releases, not cask strength, and must retail at below £65.
The whiskies will be labelled A to F so they can be judged blind and each set contains a single-use code along with a URL to register a vote.
To keep things fair any further uses of the code will simply supplant the previous vote registered with that code.
Judging started during the Virtual Whisky Show on 9 October, but voting officially closes on 15 November with the winner announced on 1 December.
The winning whisky is given a dedicated landing page on The Whisky Exchange website for the year to showcase the distillery and the bottling, while customers can watch out for special offers online and in-store ‘Of The Year’ tastings.
Those who wish to vote for their favourite whiskies can do so by purchasing a Perfect Measure tasting set (priced at £24.95) featuring all six Whisky of the Year 2021 finalists, online and in-store.
