Edinburgh Beer Factory to launch new taproom food offering with Pint & Pizza giveaway night

An Edinburgh brewing comapny is teaming up with a Morningside pizza business to bring pizza to its brewery taproom.

The collaboration between Edinburgh Beer Factory  and NKD Pizza will allow visitors at the beer destination to order pizza to enjoy alongside their brewery-fresh beer.

The partnership will be launching with a pizza and pint giveaway hosted on Friday
27th July from 5pm in the brewery taproom. On the night, NKD Pizza will be providing free pizza for the evening and the first pint of the night will be on Edinburgh Beer Factory.

The brand say that each style of pizza available will have been specially paired to an Edinburgh Beer Factory beer by their Heriot Watt alumni brewing team.

As well as the pizza, the team say guests will be able to enjoy the factory's current selection of beers; Paolozzi Lager, Paolozzi Unfiltered, BUNK! Edinburgh Brown, BUNK! Smoky Wheat and BUNK! Cherry Saison.

Additionally, the evening will be the first time visitors have the chance to taste the soon-to-be-released 3.5% Rosemary & Lemon Pale Ale.

After the event, visitors will be able to visit the taproom and order pizzas Fridays 12-
10pm and Saturdays 12-5pm.

Co-founder and head of marketing, Kirsty Dunsmore, said: "The taproom at
EBF is a space where beer meets art: the brewery and production are on show, the
beer is brewery fresh and original Eduardo Paolozzi artworks adorn the wall.

"Now we're adding a magic third ingredient to make the space somewhere people can spend more time: food! Pizza pairs brilliantly with the malt notes of our flagship
Paolozzi lager and is a nod to Eduardo's Italian heritage.

"NKD Pizza have a contemporary take on the fast food classic with a non-stodgy base and delicious flavours which we'll be pairing with our other beers."
