Cocktails in the City Edinburgh: 5 incredibly fun things you can do at this year's event

Edinburgh's cocktail lovers are in for a treat this May Bank Holiday as the UK's leading cocktail festival returns to the capital - bringing together the city’s top bars under one roof for an exclusive two day festival. 

Taking place at The Hub on the Royal Mile on Friday 3 May to Saturday 4 May, 16 of the city’s top bars will create their own unique show-stopping signature serves and compete to be crowned 'Best Bar' at this year's Cocktails in the City Edinburgh.

Festival-goers can sample these incredible creations from the likes of Juniper Bar, Nauticus, Harvey Nichols, Copper Blossom — to name but a few — before casting their vote for the winning serve.

Cocktails in the City Edinburgh brings back all of the ingredients that has made the event such a success in previous years, along with some exciting new additions for 2019.

Cocktails in the City have partnered up with Laurent-Perrier and Stylist Magazine to create a campaign showcasing contemporary Champagne cocktails involving leading women within hospitality around the UK.

Launching this weekend in Edinburgh, Sian Buchan of Panda and Sons, Georgia Thresh of Hawksmoor and Kelsie Hammy of Nightcap have created a collection of new drinks inspired by innovation, sustainability and clean cocktails using Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé, Laurent-Perrier La Cuvée Brut and Laurent-Perrier Ultra Brut.
