Ledaig, produced at Tobermory distillery on the picturesque Isle of Mull, claimed the top spot in the 9th annual Whisky of the Year blind tasting hosted by The Whisky Exchange.

Outlander star Sam Heughan's whisky, The Sassenach, has won a plethora of awards including double gold at this year's San Francisco World Spirits Championship.
The blended whisky, which launched in 2020 and was a sell out success, also won silver at this year's Scotch Whisky Masters.
This whisky was named best in the 12 Years & Under blended category at the Whisky Magazine Awards. The blended Scotch whisky is finished in Calvados casks giving it a rich, full bodied taste.

The Isle of Raasay Distillery won Scottish Whisky Distillery of the Year and Tourism Destination of the Year at this year’s Scottish Whisky Awards.

It was a great night at this year’s Scottish Whisky Awards for Islay Distillery Ardbeg, as they were awarded four medals. Included in these was a Gold Medal for their 19 year old, Ardbeg Traigh Bhan Batch 4.

It was described as being enjoyed for its “sticky fudge on the palate”, and “nice texture and good balance – a lovely sipping whisky”.
