Scottish chef Jimmy Lee to share top festive food tips on Channel 4

A Glasgow chef is set to make a guest appearance on Channel 4's festive craft programme.

Jimmy Lee, known for his restaurant Lychee Oriental in Glasgow, will join Kirstie Allsopp on the Channel 4 programme, Kirstie's Handmade Christmas.

As well as cooking up a storm, chef Jimmy Lee will be on the hunt to find some of the counties best Christmas food on the popular, festive show.

Jimmy will join the presenter, who is best known for property shows such as Location, Location, Location, hosted with 'TV husband' Phil Spencer, at her Christmas HQ for a food inspired programme.

Jimmy will be cooking up a storm in the kitchen, sharing some top tips for festive celebrations at home as well as judging some of Britain’s 'Best Christmas Food'.

Speaking of the guest slot, chef Jimmy Lee said: "I was honoured to be a guest judge on the show. It was an amazing experience.

"Kirstie was a pleasure to work with. We had a great laugh filming and she is every bit as funny and astute as she appears on TV.

"On the show this week, you'll be able to pick up some of my festive cooking tips and recreate some treats at home with my recipes".

Kirstie's Handmade Christmas featuring Chef Jimmy Lee is broadcast on Tuesday 8 December at 5pm on Channel 4.
