Following the massive success of Pickering's gin baubles it seems Angel's Share Glass have taken the idea one step further by adding Scotland's national drink to the mix.
The Stirling based family firm has teamed up with independent bottlers Douglas Laing and Co. to create a range of colourful hand blown glass baubles filled with four different regional whiskies.

Each decorative tree ornament is filled with 50ml of whisky from four of Douglas Laing's Remarkable Region Range.
The first of which, the orange, comes with Big Peat, a blend of single malts from Islay (including a Port Ellen), while the gold is filled with Rock Oyster - a "maritime malt" that is a "small batch marriage of single malt whiskies from Islay, Arran, Jura and Orkney".
The Red is filled with Scallywag, a "small batch bottling created using only the finest Speyside Malts including - amongst others - Mortlach, Macallan and Glenrothes", which is described as a great winter whisky with its rich notes of Christmas cake and dark chocolate.
The final bauble, the green, comes with Timorous Beastie, a marriage of some of the Highland region's most famous distilleries including Dalmore, Glengoyne and Blair Atholl.

The glass making firm's managing director Karen Somerville said: "We've always made whisky coloured blown baubles and sealed famous whisky sayings inside, so why not create a drinkable version? The response has been fantastic already and we are really pleased to be presenting Douglas Laing's remarkable regional whiskies in this way."
Each decorative miniature comes with a removable cork making them perfect for a Christmas day dram and refillable - so you can even add a whisky of your choice for next year.
