Everything you need to know about Aberdeen's festive Thistle Street Food Market

Support your local north east businesses this festive season with a visit to Aberdeen's Thistle Street Food Market.

What is it?

Thistle Street Food Market takes place on the 2nd Saturday of each month, aiming to showcases the finest in the local Aberdeen and north east food and drink scene.

A spokesperson for the market said: "Our goal is to attract people from the city and shire to the West End of Aberdeen, as well as provide a place for local food and drink lovers to discover new and exciting produce that's coming out of our region.

"December is our last market of 2018, and is the perfect opportunity for people to find Christmas presents or food and drink for the festive season. Sometimes local buskers turn up to entertain the crowds, and people can also pop in to the coffee shops, cafes and shops in the surrounding area while they visit. We're expecting it to be our busiest market of the year."

When is it?

The festive food market runs from 10am-3pm on Saturday 8th December.

Where is it?

The market takes place at Thistle Street, Aberdeen, AB10 1XZ.
