The team behind The Whisky Lounge is bringing its latest concept to Scotland for the first time – The Gin Lounge.
Following six successful whisky festivals in Edinburgh, they plan to host their first gin festival north of the border in Edinburgh on Saturday 1 December.
Taking place at the Assembly Rooms on George Street, the festival will bring together over 60 different gins including Islay Gin, Edinburgh Gin, No. 3, Cotswold Gin, Lakes Gin, Bathtub, Arbikie, Kokoro, IWSC and Boutiquey Gin to name but a few.
Attendees will also be able to taste Islay’s only gin, Nerabus Islay Gin, for the first time since the product was launched by husband and wife team, John and Audrey Gow, in May this year.
Tickets for The Edinburgh Gin Lounge Festival are on sale now and cost just £45, including all gin and tonics samples and a commemorative glass.

Now in a striking new bottle, Berkeley Square London Dry Gin has been carefully distilled and refined, making it an award-winning spirit.
The meticulous master distiller first triple distills the base spirit using a small copper still before using the bouquet garni technique, taking the four main ingredients - kaffir lime leaves, lavender, sage and basil - and delicately hand-wrapping them in a muslin cloth, before steeping the clothed parcel in the base spirit for 48 hours to infuse and impart the herbal flavours and essential oils.
The blend of triple distillation and the distinctive infusion process results in a wonderfully delicate and smooth taste that can be enjoyed even sipped neat.
Named after one of London's most affluent areas in Mayfair the bottle is shaped like a decanter with a silver engraved stopper and a lion head knocker - a nod to the front doors surrounding Berkeley Square.
