Glasgow

After four sell out shows at various venues across Glasgow, this popular annual fiesta returns to Saint Luke’s with another piñata-packed night of live music, dance and theatre performances, Latin tunes, face-painting, lashings of tequila, cocktails and Mexican street food.
Guests are encouraged to come dressed in their finest Calaca apparel, and dance the night away to Rapido Mariachi – Scotland’s best loved sombrero-topped four-piece – and resident BALKANARAMA DJ Ewan Evans, aka, Señor Poco Loco.
Face painters will also be on hand throughout the night to create the much-loved sugar skull artwork.

Party goers will be invited to walk the black carpet before being immersed in to a world of glamour, darkness and Champagne, as Hutchesons is transformed into a gloriously dark haunted mansion.
This year’s theme is inspired by Vogue’s Edward Enninful ‘Seven Deadly Sins’ anniversary film featuring Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, with costumes and makeup set to reflect greed, pride, lust, gluttony, envy, sloth or wrath.
Starting from 6.30pm, guests will enjoy a three course Champagne dinner in the City Grill complete with creepy drinks concoctions, giveaways, a secret surprise and bubbles in abundance courtesy of Veuve Clicquot, of course.
Edinburgh

Diners are invited to the charming setting of Edinburgh's secret herb garden to enjoy a spooky evening.
The event and dinner takes place in the Glasshouse, from 7pm-11pm, and includes: an arrival drink of warm apple cider, three course dinner with paired drinks and post-dinner tea and coffee.
Professional theatre act, Deadly Acts Theatre, will perform on the night and guests are encouraged to take part in the murder mystery.
As posted on the Secret Herb Garden's Facebook, the team say: "Join us as we welcome 'Deadly Acts Theatre', Scotland's leading theatrical Murder Mystery Company to the Secret Herb Garden to bring you an evening to remember.
"But be prepared... this is no ordinary sit down Murder Mystery. We will ask all guest investigators, (Yes YOU), to tread the crime scenes and gather the evidence as the story unfolds.
"You will find yourself in the midst of the action and witness the darker side of human nature as it happens."

With a dress code of 'hint of Halloween', spooky games and music from The Flavours, Prestonfield House's annual Halloween Ball is back.
The frighteningly fun-packed evening is organised by The Sportsman's Charity, in aid of Leuchie House.
Tickets include a welcome drink, three course dinner, half a bottle of wine and entertainment until 1am.

The Printing Press Bar & Kitchen is bringing a flavour of Mexico’s most iconic festival to Edinburgh’s George Street with two lively Día de los Muertos events in partnership with premium vodka brand Crystal Head Vodka.
On Wednesday 31 October and Thursday 1 November from 5.00pm until late, this popular venue is turning all things Mexican with ‘Day of the Dead’ festivities, themed bar, DJ and saxophonist duo and specially crafted Crystal Head Vodka cocktails to help you get in touch with your inner spirits!

Lindores Abbey Distillery in Cupar is, once again, opening their doors to a grown up wizarding world for their Halloween banquet.
Guest can look forward to welcome cauldrons of cocktails and canapes before sitting down to banquet consisting of a selection of four main courses and four desserts. A half bottle of wine per person is also included.
After the meal, an apothecary bar will be open and the band (Ginny and the Tonic) will play until the end of the night.
The Lindores team posted on their Facebook saying: "With cauldrons full of cocktail’s and wands ready for battle on the dancefloor there is no excuse not to adorn your cloak and experience the Lindores Magic."
Highlands

Treat the kids to a spooky train journey through the Highlands this Halloween with the Strathspey Railway's Halloween Express.
Running from 27-28 October, with three journeys per day - 10.30am, 12.30pm and 2.45pm - the express tour starts in Aviemore where guests will be welcomed by the 'haunted host'.
The journey will be from Aviemore to Broomhill, via Boat of Garten, on the railway's vintage steam-hauled carriage.
Kids will love the scary treats, which including ‘Bloody Eyeballs’ and ‘Liquefied Earwax’, plus each carriage will be decorated with skeletons, bats and spiders.
On arrival at Broomhill there will be spooky platform ghost stories, Halloween themed games and a chance to talk to the train driver and see inside the steam loco footplate.
Guests are also advised to look out for Graham the gruesome guard!

Scone Palace's fright-fest returns and promises a spooky night of fun.
Posted on the Palace's Facebook, the team say: "Rumour has it that the ‘Spirits of Scone’ have reawakened this Halloween, so keep your wits about you.
"Explore the transformed gardens for a spine-chilling fright fest, complete with menacing ghouls and horror film characters lurking in the shadows."
The palace grounds will be transformed into a terrifying playground for menacing ghouls and horror film freaks, with frights hiding in the woods and lurking in the maze.
After being scared silly, guests can something warm and tasty - such as burgers or toasted marshmallows - at the Fright Night Café and gather round for a spooky storytelling session in the gothic kitchen.
