The event, which invited whisky fans from across the globe to the island to discover the unique flavours of Jura as part of the annual Feis Ile festival, enjoyed another successful year.
Visitors to the festival enjoyed food, whisky and craft beer tastings as well as talks from Jura Master Distiller Willie Tait and Distillery Manager Willie Cochrane. Many were also lucky enough to take part in the unique tasting sessions from the rarest casks in Jura’s warehouse with Master Distiller Richard Paterson.
Highlights included the tasting mural in the Cooperage, where a street artist painted the personal tasting notes of attendees live on the walls of the distillery as they sampled a dram from Jura’s range, resulting in a continuously evolving mural of flavour.
Guests also enjoyed a specially brewed bottle of craft beer from Drygate Brewing Co., which was specially created to pair with the limited edition Jura Tastival whisky.
