Chef Jimmy Lee of Lychee Oriental said: "2018 has seen Glasgow’s Asian food scene burst into action.
"Korean food is on trend with the opening of Dai Pai last week with BiBimBap and Jays Grill bar earlier in the year. Ordering a traditional BiBimBap (mixed rice dish) is a must- try.
"Asian street food is also on trend with Sunshine Tea Lounge offering freshly made Chinese dumplings and duck offering fresh aromatic duck baos".
Ok, so it’s well known that Glaswegians love a Chinese and, alongside Indian food, it’s been one of the city’s favourite cuisines for generations and there are hundreds of take-aways and restaurants to reflect the fact.
One of the city's best is Lychee Oriental, headed up by chef Jimmy Lee who has become a well-known face thanks to his stints on TV, including being a regional finalist on BBC's Great British Menu.
Speaking about the new additions to the menu at the Merchant City favourite, Jimmy said: "Glasgow has always been adventurous with food and at Lychee Oriental our new additions such as chicken with cloud fungus and lap cheung have been very well received by foodies.
"The city also has an insatiable desire for cocktails and our unique offerings 'Dragon Punch' and 'The Green Hornet' have proved popular in this current heatwave".

The Dhabba offers a refreshing take on Indian cuisine.
Named after the diners which line the roads in India, Dhabba offers a regional twist on the traditional formula with a focus on north Indian cuisine.
