Fans of Ed Sheeran can now enjoy a pre-gig tipple in his honour as the Glasgow Hilton hotel has launched a special cocktail.
Titled 'Shape of Bru', the drink combines Irn Bru with Auchentoshan whisky and will be served in the hotel's Whisky Mist bar.
Named for the star's most streamed song, 'Shape of You', there's also a Makar gin and non-alcoholic version available ahead of Ed's three night run at Hampden from 1-3rd June.
Guests who enjoy the drink and are feeling lucky can enter the hotel's competition to win two tickets to the Sunday night show.
All entrants need to do is comment or post a selfie with the "Shape of Bru" cocktail using the hashtag #ShapeOfBruHiltonGlasgow with a winner being notified on 31st May.
Posting about the cocktail on social media, the hotel team said: "Following the proud Glaswegian tradition of calling fizzy drinks ‘ginger’, Hilton Glasgow welcomes fellow ginger and global superstar Ed Sheeran to Glasgow by creating a unique ginger and Irn-Bru cocktail - the ‘Shape of Bru’ - which is served exclusively in Whisky Mist!"
Hilton Glasgow cocktail master Indra Kamphof said: “Everyone at Hilton Glasgow is really excited about Ed Sheeran arriving in Glasgow.
"He is probably the most popular male music star on the planet just now and it’s great for Glasgow and Scotland to have in our home.
"We hope he drops by to try the drink named in his honour featuring some of Scotland’s favourite drinks and finest exports!”
