The festival will take place at the Assembly Rooms, Edinburgh, on the 18th May and and Glasgow Caledonian University on the 19th May, with the UK’s top home delivery wine merchant, Laithwaite’s Wine, giving the public the chance to travel the
world from a glass and discover new and exciting drinks styles from a host of talented producers.
Those in attendance can make their way around a range of tasting zones, sampling everything from ‘Wonderful Bubbles and Artisan Beers’ to ‘Irresistible Old World’ with unlimited drinks included in the ticket price.
The exciting festival will include a sensory experience aptly named the Palate MOT, where guests can test their palate with Master of Wine Justin Howard Sneyd and identify exactly how adept their wine tasting capabilities really are.
The Cheese and Wine pairing masterclass which is expected to be in demand will also feature alongside new additions such as the gin masterclasses and the chance to take a trip to the historic riverside Le Chai au Quai winery in Bordeaux without the travel expense, thanks to the Virtual Reality tours of Le Chai au Quai.

The two-and- a-half- hour event gives visitors plenty of time to sample the wide range of beverages on offer from around the world, as well as tuck in to a selection of samples from local food suppliers.
