So far, the wedding cake has had over a thousand likes on the social media site, with one user posting "I need this in my life" and another joking that they just needed to find "someone to marry" now.
Created by Fozia Nawaz, owner of The Sweet Tooth Bakery which is based just outside Newcastle, the cake was specially requested by bride & groom Nic & Neil Corkhill and took nearly 200 teacakes to make.
The special foil used for the finished cake was even sent down to them by the Scottish firm, as Fozia explained: "Nic & Neil contacted Tunnock's for foil for the main cake, which Tunnock's were kind enough to send down for me to use."
Fozia, who has been making wedding cakes for the last eight years, added that this was the first time she had made a Tunnock's themed cake, something she found surprising as the Scottish brand's products are well loved in the north east of England.
The cake maker said: "Tunnock's products are SO popular around here, I have had so many enquiries/likes for this cake since I posted the pics online."
