We caught up with the team behind the new project to find out a little more about what people can expect.
Dockyard Social is a new street food market for Glasgow’s foodie scene to enjoy a selection of tasty culinary dishes from around the world in sociable environment with live music and a range of bespoke beers, wines and cocktails.
The venue will be unveiled with a 4-day preview event called Dockyard 001 that will give you a taste of a real street food experience.
The launch event will run from 30th November until 3rd December and tickets will be available in hourly slots to allow as many people as possible to visit.
Tickets are priced at £5 each and are available at: www.dockyardsocial.com/tickets
Tickets include entry to the event and a drink upon arrival (beer, wine, cocktail or soft drink).

Easily accessed by car, or should you be travelling by bus, any which travel along Argyle Street.

Food will consist of up to 11 separate street food vendors, serving 4-8 dishes each.
All of these will be carefully selected due to their outstanding quality, value for money and product to ensure there is always a wide variety of sensational food, always available.
All dishes will be priced at £5.
Our food traders will be released over the coming weeks, however to whet the appetite there’ll be crispy honey-porter sticky chicken wings, Bulgogi beef with kimchi mayo dirty waffles, or Hirata buns all alongside much loved classics like wood fired pizza, Korean fried
chicken or authentic blue corn tacos, there will always be something for everyone.
There will be 10 different vegan/coeliac dishes originating from cuisines across the world so that everyone can enjoy more than a few dishes on the day.
We’ve been working hard on matching food with drinks, so there will be 4 very different concepts there too, from slushies, craft cider through to our concept bar and seasonal cocktail menu.
Live music will be offered via local Glaswegian unsigned up and coming musicians, chosen to highlight the vibrant music scene within Glasgow.
That’s true! Our goal is to build a training and development school within the venue. The Dockyard Social School will be used to support great causes and initiatives across the country when we open the doors to be used as a professional school to nurture up and coming talent.
There will also be a specific employability service for local unemployed people who can benefit from accessing training, work experience, career support and job matching, these
employment programmes will be in partnership with local and national charities.
